Bear and Chook or...?
Brainstorm some suitable substitutions for bear and chook in the story such as an elephant and a mouse or a lion and a lizard. Think about the differences in size and why they are an unlikley pairing. Write down your new title.
Draw the substitute for chook: label the likely body parts that could be used in the story, e.g. whiskers, tail, toenail.
Re-read the story substituting the two new animals. What do you think?
