Ipswich District Teacher-Librarian Netowork was well represented at the inaugural International Library Symposium at The Southport School 28-30 September, 2014. Elizabeth Gipps (St Joseph's North Ipswich), Jenny Stubbs (IDTL Network Coordinator), Anita Aurisch (WMAC), and Ildika Koppen (Ipswich East SS), all had a wondeful time at the conference. Highlights were Isobelle Carmody and dinner in the TSS dining room, where we felt like we were at Hogwarts. The conference had a small but well represneted trade fair and a variety of presenters not normally encountered at conference. Topics ranged from library design, gamifying the curriculum, YA literature in Singapore to how we can help shape the brain. Netowrking in between was amazing and this group would definitely retun next year for more.
