CBCA brings children and books together through it's annual Book Week and Book of the Year awards. Find out more about CBCA Book Week.

CBCA NSW Eastern Suburbs Sub-Branch have compiled an anthology of stories, poems, plays and illustrations for children, based on the CBCA Book Week theme for 2021, with over 70 contributors, including some of the most well-loved Australian children’s literature creatives. It can be ordered via the CBCA NSW Branch Merchandise order form for $25 ($22 for members of CBCA).
CBCA NSW Branch produce a Kids Corner Newsletter. This August edition (pdf) focuses on Australian Characters with ideas for CBCA Book Week.
The Book Curator’s Guide to the CBCA Book of the Year Awards offers detailed reviews of the titles in every category, including the Eve Pownall Award for Information Books and CBCA Award for New Illustrator (formerly the Crichton Award). Visit their website for more information.

Free Images - You can download for free the character images from the cover of our book.
The Australian Publishers Association (APA), the Australian Society of Authors (ASA) and the National Copyright Unit (NCU) would like to announce the revival of the Storytime Agreement.
This will allow schools whose students are affected by government 'stay-at-home' orders to read Australian children's books online to students and families without any need for specific permission or payment.
For further information about the revival of the Storytime Agreement, please read the attached information sheet which is also found on our Smartcopying website.
